The load screen takes about 15 seconds. If you are getting those times, it indicates.DAT file corruption.Did you try to reinstall with all system security fully disabled in the system services?Do this (bu at your own risk because I do not know if you are an advanced user or not).Go to Start/Run, and type services.msc.Right click ANYTHING remotely related to any virus or spyware scanner, and select Stop. Do check the list carefully.Fully delete the FSXPATHFlight One SoftwareUltimate Traffic folder, then do a full reinstall. DO NOT REBOOT afterwards because your virus scanner may start.See if it works. If it does, you can reinable your security carefully. I did the same thing. I had a line:SimObjectPaths.6=F:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9Aircraftin the cfg file to use a lot of my old FS9 aircraft which I haveconverted.

Seems like the UT installer does not like this even thoughit is OK in FSX. I deleted it, no longer get the Error 52, andcompiled my Traffic now all I get is the FSX messages that I haveduplicates in all of the Flight One AI folders, which I don't have.

Ihope some UT expert will jump in here and help me fix this second mess!Best regards, Bob.Chris Peschke. Chris Peschke wrote:I suspect UT FSX tries to write to the #6 spot and finding it full ends the install.I had no problems installing and UT FSX's aircraft is at SimObjectPaths.9. Deleting the link to the F: folder allows me to at least runUT now without the Error 52. The UT installer should allow the aliasingto another folder as long as it does not include any AI aircraft whichmy F: folder does not have. My F; folder is just a folder with all ofmy converted FS9 aircraft. It does not have any Flight One AI aircraftin it. In fact the configuration I have now does not even reference theF: folder in the fsx.cfg.

That's what is strange when UT says I haveduplicate AI aircraft. Thanks, regards, Bob.Steve Halpern. Usually, the reason for having duplicate aircraft is that you have a traffic file somewhere which has the same flights as UT's traffic.bgl. Such files can be in any active folder. Often they are installed along with addon scenery. This is a common problem with FS2004. Maybe you might be having the same problem with addon sceneries in FSX.

If so, the simple answer is to find it and remove it.It has nothing to do with the aircraft themselves, although it's not a good idea to have duplicate aircraft. FSX warns of these whilst loading, and it's recommended that you try to find them. They might not be actual duplicates; it's quite possible to have duplicate titles in the aircraft.cfg of just one aircraft model.

The solution is to change the title of one of them. The problem is that all of the duplicate aircraft areFlight One AI aircraft. It says I have two of each. I did a completesearch of my whole FSX folder and they only appear once. In each FlightOne AI folder I do not have any duplicates.

The only Traffic files arethe traffic.bgl that UT made and the backup of the original traffic.bglwhich is now trafficAircraft.utb. I am really lost as to where theduplicates are. I just renamed the traffic file to traffic.bgxand tried again. I still get the duplicate Flight One AI planes.Regards, Bob.familton. Duplicate Problem Solved!!!!!!!!I found out that when I reinstalled UT after getting the Error 52 thatthe installer put another entry in my fsx.cfg and added a duplicateline for the UT Aircraft. When I removed the extra line FSX runs OK andthere are no duplicate entries.

Looks like this is another problem withthe installer, in addition to its not allowing the aliasing of anotheraircraft folder. The Error 52 had nothing at all to do with theanti-virus being on or off during the first install which I was advisedof earlier.
