I can't remove the $ signs from the wheel since I didn't create the wheel image. However, you CAN remove the $ signs from the scoreboard. If you're using v2.0 or newer, the $ signs are in separate text boxes that can easily be removed using PowerPoint's edit view.Keep in mind that this Wheel of Fortune template was designed strictly for the U.S. Even without the $ signs, the numbers might feel out of place as the British pound's value differs from the U.S. Dollar.Hope this helps!
I assume you found out that clicking the top of each tile makes them white and that you enabled Active Controls, right?The way this template works is that you have to have the solution to the puzzle somewhere in your head or written down on a solution card. You set up the puzzle board by lighting up the necessary tiles, and during the game, you fill in these tiles with the letters.There currently isn't a way to pre-program the puzzle board with puzzles. That would take some insane VBA skills to pull off.I hope this helps! To add sounds, you'll need to use VBA.

I'm surprised someone would want more than 12 puzzles, since most full Wheel of Fortune games don't need more than 9.Anyway, due to the way I programmed the puzzle creator, it's not possible to add more than 12 puzzles in one PPT file. For now, you have three options:1) Create a copy of the Wheel of Fortune for PowerPoint file. Once you finish the first 12 puzzles, open the next file for another 12 puzzles.
(You'd need to import the player name/scores if for some reason you're playing a standalone with more than 12 puzzles.)2) Download an older version of Wheel of Fortune for PowerPoint, located in the Archive page. Versions 3.2 and older used a different puzzle mechanism that would let you create an infinite amount of puzzles, at the expense of having to remember each letter in the puzzle.3).Gasp.
Use rusnakcreative's Wheel of Fortune PowerPoint (which you can find online). His template works and feels different from mine, but you can add more than 12 puzzles in his version. As awkward as it is to promote a competitor's tool, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.Perhaps one day, I'll figure out a better way to let people add more than 12 puzzles. Hi Tim, the ppt was truly a great work. It is by par the best I have seen in the internet. However It lacks the game background sound that typically set the mood of the audience abuzz. Furthermore, the wheel just suddenly stop unlike the work of the wheel of winning 2017 that mimics an actual wheel of fortune complete with sound and all.

Allow me to address your two points of concern.- There's currently no music because I don't want to risk copyright issues using the official Wheel soundtrack. The workaround would be to create my own sounds, which I haven't got to yet (and I'm no expert at music production).- The wheel used to not suddenly stop in previous versions. Unfortunately, the old wheel mechanism had issues properly landing on random wedges, so I had to rework the wheel in a way that's more random, but not as pretty.(Note that I have researched ways to bring back an animated wheel while retaining randomness. One method I've found changes the wheel mechanism to 1 click instead of 2, but it doesn't work with PowerPoint 2007. When I drop PowerPoint 2007 support, I'll consider switching the wheel mechanism to this method. But I'm not sure if people prefer 1 click or 2 clicks.).
