Packard Bell Easynote Recovery Disk
I have a Packard Bell EasyNote laptop which had been running slowly and decided to do a system restore using a restore CD I had created for it (no disk was supplied by the vendors, just instructions on how to create one). In order to start from scratchI decided to do a full restore, which meant wiping the existing drive. I booted from the recovery CD and all seemed to be going fine until part way through it asked me to insert disk 2. I only have the one disk. Now the system won't boot at all - it comesup with an error saying BOOTMGR is missing and hangs up.
I don't know what to do now. I've tried looking for downloads on the PAckard Bell website, but it doesn't seem to list my particular model. I've tried looking on the Microsoft website but it doesn'tappear to recognise the product identifier on the Microsoft label on the base of the laptop. I don't know what to do next to recover a working laptop.
