It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that I will not be ableto participate on the upcoming Axes & Anchors cruise.
I was genuinelyexcited to perform on this unique and amazing musical voyage alongsidesome incredible talent. But with the recent tragic passing of my friendDavid VanLanding, who was going to be performing with me, I cannotbring myself to perform that material on board the ship. It would bedoing a disservice to the cruise, its patrons, and the memory of Davidto attempt this show without him. I know there will be somedisappointed fans, but the cruise has assembled some of the best talentout there and I know it will thrive in light of my having to cancel.I can only hope that after time passes we can come to grips with theloss of David and adequately honor his memory. We have chosen Madrid because of the immense support we have received there. The crowds have been fantastic.Michael Schenker says this about the shows in Madrid in recent years 'The crowds in Madrid have always been very special for me.
