A 300+MB file would add up thru 1.7GB until I closed the window; earlier I tried a 1.1GB file and the MIDI could only play the first time then lock up the computer on the loop.
So your wiki liges; VLC does crash the computer and it's your fault when you built it this way.(on Windows 10). The newest VLC version still says FluidSynth copyright 2010 when the newest FluidSynth came out 2019.
