I recently purchased this laptop with Internet Explorer 9 for school use. I am unable to open any attachments from my school website and from my hotmail account.
The download manager shows the attachments downloading, but it takes over 24 hours and thenit quits and I am unable to download my attachments. This is ridiculous since I spent a fortune on this laptop to be able to do my coursework. Why can't I download anything anymore? Please tell me how to fix this problem.The system shows these docs downloading but will not open or complete the downloads! Please Help I need these downloads for school!Jessica Nettles.
Hi,Check after each step.1. From Internet Options General Browsing History Delete (next screen) uncheck Preserve Favorites website data then check and delete Temporary Internet Files and Download History.2. Internet Options Advanced (Security section) Uncheck 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk.' Is another download manager running- DAP, SpeedBit, Download Accelerator Plus, etc? Check Internet Options Programs Manage add-ons (Show:All add-ons) for these add-ons.4.
